Estate Planning Made Simple

Does This Sound Familiar?

  1. Getting your estate plan done has been on your to do list for a while but it is still not done?
  2. You have no idea where to start with an estate plan or what you need?
  3. You want to ensure that you’ve got the right documents in place to protect you and your loved ones?
  4. You need someone to help guide you through the process of making difficult decisions related to your estate plan?

Pesce Law Office has designed a simple six step process to help clients get their estate plan done.

  1. Submit Our Planning Questionnaire: Our Planning Questionnaire is designed to convey important information about yourself and your family, including information regarding your assets and liabilities.  By collecting this information in advance, we can familiarize ourselves with your unique circumstances, enabling us to provide tailored advice and recommendations during your Strategy Session, and it ensures we make the most of our time together.
  2. Attend Your Virtual Strategy Session: In your Strategy Session, you’ll meet with Attorney Jessica Pesce virtually to discuss recommendations for your estate plan.  Jessica will lay out the exact documents she recommends for your particular situation and will also answer any of your questions and concerns.  At the conclusion of the session, Jessica will provide the flat fee cost to create your estate plan.
  3. The Design Meeting: The Design Meeting is Jessica’s favorite.  In this meeting, you will meet with Attorney Jessica Pesce virtually to discuss how your estate plan should be drafted and you will name all of the important individuals to include in your plan.  Don’t worry, Jessica always provides a checklist of items to think about and have prepared prior to this meeting! Once Jessica has all of this information, she gets to work on drafting your documents.
  4. Document Review Session: After Jessica completes the drafts of your documents, she prepares review videos to provide you with a high level overview of how your plan works.  You’ll receive your drafts and the videos and have about a week to review.  Then we’ll meet one more time on zoom to go over any questions or concerns you have about your documents.  Most importantly, in this meeting, we also discuss how to align your assets with your estate plan.  Most clients choose to invite other trusted advisors to this meeting to review asset recommendations.
  5. The Signing Ceremony: Shortly after the document review session, you’ll meet with Jessica in person to sign your estate plan! Because we’ve already reviewed the documents in detail, the signing ceremony is fairly quick, lasting 10-15 minutes.
  6. Review Period & Asset Alignment: Jessica provides all of her clients with a 90 Day Review period.  During this 90 days, Jessica encourages her clients to keep reviewing their plans and reach out to her with any outstanding questions.  Additionally, Jessica continues to provide assistance with funding instructions and asset alignment during this period.

Frequently Asked Questions

Using an estate planning attorney is essential when getting your estate plan done to ensure that your plan is comprehensive, legally sound, and tailored to your specific needs. While it may be tempting to attempt a do-it-yourself approach or use generic online templates, the expertise and guidance of an estate planning attorney offer numerous benefits that cannot be overstated.

Firstly, an estate planning attorney possesses in-depth knowledge of the complex legal and financial aspects involved in creating an estate plan. They stay updated on current laws and regulations, allowing them to navigate potential pitfalls and ensure your plan adheres to all legal requirements. This helps to minimize the risk of errors or oversights that could lead to challenges or disputes down the road.

Additionally, an attorney can provide personalized advice and guidance based on your unique circumstances. They will take the time to understand your goals, assets, and family dynamics, tailoring the plan to meet your specific needs. This personalized approach ensures that your wishes are accurately reflected and that your loved ones are adequately protected.

An estate planning attorney can also help you explore various strategies to minimize taxes, preserve wealth, and optimize asset distribution. They have a deep understanding of the tax implications and strategies available, allowing them to design a plan that maximizes the benefits for you and your beneficiaries.

Furthermore, an attorney can assist in navigating the complexities of trusts, probate, and other estate planning tools. They can advise on the most appropriate options for your situation, explain the potential pros and cons, and guide you through the process, ensuring that your wishes are carried out effectively.

Finally, using an estate planning attorney provides peace of mind. Knowing that your plan has been professionally prepared and reviewed by an experienced legal expert gives you confidence that your wishes will be honored and your loved ones will be protected.

To get started working with us, our Strategy Sessions require a $375 payment.  While we do not provide the flat fee cost of our estate planning services in advance of the Strategy Session, on average our clients spend $3,000 – $5,700 for their estate planning documents.  We also credit the Strategy Session fee towards the cost of your estate plan.

To prepare for the Strategy Session, we review the information you submit on your planning questionnaire and familiarize ourselves with your specific situation.  We also prepare to attend the Strategy Session ready to discuss your particular goals, concerns, and needs.  Lastly, Pesce Law Office only offers a limited number of Strategy Sessions per month.  The fee reserves your spot to meet with us.

Asking about assets and liabilities in our Planning Questionnaire serves a crucial purpose in ensuring we can provide comprehensive estate planning solutions. By gathering information about your assets (such as properties, investments, and retirement accounts) and liabilities (like debts and obligations), it allows us to gain a holistic understanding of your financial picture. This insight enables us to create a tailored estate plan that takes into account your unique circumstances, helping to protect your assets, mitigate potential tax implications, and ensure a smooth distribution of wealth to your loved ones.

Pesce Law Office accommodates in person meetings upon request.
